
Southampton City Council is pleased to be supporting Business South 2008 for the third year and believes that it will be even more successful than previous years and become a focal point in the calendars of Southampton businesses.
Cabinet memberr for Economic Development and Regeneration in Southampton Councillor Royston Smith, has commented: "This show is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who runs a business or hoping to start a business of their own. I would urge people to take advantage of the huge amount of business advice which will be on offer during the two days."
"These are exciting times for businesses in Southampton. The city is set to see massive economic development over the coming years."
As well as sponsoring the event, the council will also be exhibition at stand number 111, in the Terry Payne Suite. Come along and meet the council staff from a wide range of different council businesses services, such as economic development, trading standards, health and safety and licensing.
In the New Business Zone, the council has made a number of stands available for new Southampton companies. These young companies are excellent examples of what local entrepreneurs can achieve when they start their own business. They will be displaying the latest innovative products and services so visitors will benefit from speaking to these skilled professionals.
