21 June 2006:
Innovation is the only sustainable competitive advantage in an ever changing marketplace. An organisation's underlying market value will be determined by its ability to innovate, whilst further growth can be possible only through innovation.
The government has recognised this and has created a number of grants to support the research and/or development of innovative products and processes by SMEs and individuals.
These R&D Grants are administered by the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA) for Hampshire/IOW SMEs and individuals.
There are four types of grant aimed at supporting different types of project and company size. Grants range from a few thousand pounds (for micro projects) to half a million pounds (for exceptional development projects).
Business Link can assist you in the grant application process with the objective of maximising you chance of gaining an award.
