Southampton and Fareham Chamber help to secure trading opportunities for their members

Within the coming months Southampton and Fareham Chamber will be the newest Chamber to launch Memberlink, the inter-trading system that is rapidly growing across the UK.

Memberlink is a web-based inter-trading platform that acts as a matchmaker between buyers and suppliers and is being provided to all Southampton and Fareham Chamber members (and affiliate members) free of charge.

What does it do?

- It encourages an inter-trading culture amongst members/communities

- It increases the sense of community amongst members

- It is a proactive facilitator of new business generation between members

- It provides a powerful procurement tool for use by local private and public sector organizations

- The powerful ‘Post a Requirement’ and ‘tenderboard’ functions allow for any sized buying opportunity – locally, regionally, nationally, internationally – to be automatically matched to suppliers listed on the system. Suppliers are then automatically alerted to the new opportunity via email and SMS text message

- It acts as a key player in providing mechanisms designed to stimulate the local economy

- It will help to raise your profile amongst the wider business community
