Working from home pilot study

17 February:

Ever considered allowing your staff to work from home or away from the office?

By participating in this pilot study you could receive up to £500 per participant towards your costs.

In the South East of England research indicates that some workers on particularly congested routes can add an extra 1/3rd to their workday and spend around £3,500 financing their travelling costs.

Working from home or locally - even two days per week - can help reduce pressures on office space, ease peak time congestion, help the environment and contribute greatly to the well being of staff.

This invitation is your opportunity to participate in this highly significant Broadband-enabled Mobile and Teleworking pilot study, called MATISSE.

MATISSE is a SEEDA funded pilot project, supported by Business Link Wessex and BT and led by Hampshire County Council. It is a 6 month study to monitor the benefits of this mode of working.

If you are interested in participating in the study, take the time to read through information on our website and then complete the following questionnaire by Monday 20th February.

Those accepted into the project will receive up to £500 per participating member of staff towards your costs involved with this project.

You will need to identify a small group of staff who are willing and able to include at least two days of home or mobile Teleworking in their working week for the six-month pilot.
