New web site for your local Chamber of Commerce

The Southampton and Fareham Chamber of Commerce have launched a new website www.soton-chamber.co.uk to provide an even more efficient service to their members, and enable members to communicate more effectively with us.

The new website was developed by Taylor Made Computer Solutions Limited, one of the Chamber of Commerce’s Gold Patrons, who understand from their first hand knowledge of the Chamber of Commerce that members come from many different business sectors and that some are more computer literate than others - skills and experience lying in many different directions. For that reason the Chamber of Commerce have worked very closely with Taylor Made to ensure that the new website will be as user friendly as possible.

In addition, the website will incorporate feedback forms so that the Chamber of Commerce can evaluate the services we offer on a regular basis. One of the other new features will be the Bulletin Board which will ask members for their views on issues of policy and consultation papers as well as providing members with the facility to post information and questions.

The Chamber of Commerce are aware that many members want to access information at different times of the day and so the new E-commerce section will enable members and non-members to pay for their membership, events, training etc on line securely, rather than taking time out of the day to contact staff at our office, although for those who prefer to talk to the Chamber of Commerce, they will still be happy to take your calls.
