Southampton West Quay Premier Inn officially opens to the public

The Southampton West Quay Premier Inn has officially opened its doors to the public, marking an investment of just under £9 million into the local economy and creating 41 jobs for the local community.
Local businesses and councillors were invited to the official opening, with Terry Matthews, the local Mayor, cutting the ribbon to mark the opening of the new 155 bedroom hotel and restaurant.
The hotel and restaurant are conveniently located in the heart of lively Southampton on Harbour Parade, just a 10 minute drive from Southampton Docks. Nearby attractions include Southampton City Art Gallery and Southampton Maritime Museum. Just a 15 minute walk from Southampton Central railway Station, Premier Inn Southampton West Quay is also just meters of the WestQuay Shopping Centre.

Each bedroom caters for up to two adults and two children (aged 15 and under) and includes an en-suite bathroom; a king size bed; remote control TV with freeview; tea/coffee making facilities, and a spacious desk area with WiFi Internet access. The site will also offer the All You Can Eat ‘Premier Breakfast’ – which from just £7.99 is the perfect way to start your day!

Councillor Royston Smith, Leader of Southampton City Council, said: “I am very pleased Premier Inn has now opened.
“This is a key element of the West Quay site, which is part of the city’s renaissance plan. This hotel will create another 41 jobs for city residents which is of vital importance at this time.”
