Trade Centre instruction

The South Coast agency team of national commercial property consultancy, Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH), has been instructed to market Helical Trade Centre, Millbrook, Southampton after introducing the latest tenant to the scheme.

Property developer and investor, Helical Bar, has appointed LSH’s Southampton & Fareham based Industrial & Logistics agency team to market the nine remaining units at the scheme, which is Southampton’s only dedicated trade centre. The appointment follows the latest letting at the scheme to Anbo International, an importer of solid wood flooring and hardwood worktop products. Other trade occupiers at the centre include Tile Giant and Crown Paints.

Adrian Whitfield, Director in LSH’s Southampton office, commented: “Over the last year, as business confidence has improved, we have seen an increase in enquiries and transactions from trade counter occupiers. Helical Trade Centre’s dominance in the market, being the only scheme of its kind in Southampton, is obviously in a position to accommodate much of this demand.”

LSH will act as joint agent on the scheme, alongside Goadsby and GVA Grimley. Helical Trade Centre is a joint development between Helical Bar and Chancerygate Business Centres.
