Property moves for property firms

Acting on behalf of Your Move, national commercial property consultancy, Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH), has assigned the remainder of its lease at 13a The Hundred to estate agency, Connells.

Connells is to relocate from its existing property further along The Hundred. The lease is due to expire in January 2011 at a passing rent of £24,175 per annum. The premises comprise a ground floor retail area of 581 sq ft with offices and staff area at first floor.

Garry Cherrett, Director at LSH’s Fareham office, commented: “It is positive to see, in these uncertain times, commitment to the town. We had an encouraging amount of interest in the premises which was not surprising given its prime location close to a number of major retailers and service providers, combined with the fact that it backed on to one of the major car parks in the town centre.”
