The Southampton Park Hotel (AA 3 Star - 2011) is located in the heart of the city overlooking Watts Park. It is a short walk from the main railway station and the city’s retail area including West Quay Shopping Centre.

Southampton is one of three major ports in the UK used by cruise ships, providing a source of additional revenue to hotels in the area, particularly Southampton Park Hotel as it is within one mile of the main terminals.

The city is host to Europe’s largest on-water boat show, which is usually held annually in September.

Communications into the area are good; the mainline railway station provides services to London Waterloo, and Southampton Airport is located on the outskirts of the city, about 3 miles from the hotel.
The hotel provides 72 guest bedrooms, with en suite facilities, and ancillary facilities including restaurant, bar, meeting room, banqueting suites, a leisure club with swimming pool and gymnasium.

There are no on-site parking facilities, although there is an NCP car park at the rear of the hotel.

The hotel was owned and operated by Forestdale Hotels until the group was sold to Akkeron Hotels in 2010.
