Marchwood Attracts Luxury Tenant

Acting on behalf of Stanelco PLC, national commercial property consultancy, Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH), has let over 17,000 sq ft of new industrial space to XSMG Marine, a manufacturer of luxury speed boats.

1A1 on Normandy Way, Marchwood Industrial Estate in Southampton provides enough space for up to six boats to be built simultaneously whilst creating ten new jobs for boat makers in the region. The new tenant has signed a sublease for a term of eight years.

Adrian Whitfield, Director at LSH’s Southampton office, commented: “This latest letting follows in the wake of AT UK Imports Ltd taking Building 1A2, which exceeds 18,500 sq ft. Marchwood is set to become one of the principal industrial/warehouse locations in south Hampshire over the next ten to 20 years and it is fitting that such a prestigious manufacturer should set up home on the estate, creating jobs within the region.”
