Linda knew that she wanted to start her own business one day. So when she was made redundant from Sony Semiconductors, where she was a senior engineer, she decided that it was the perfect opportunity to start her dream of building a successful company. “Starting Ayunia has given me the challenge I wanted and also provides the flexibility needed for family life”, Linda commented.

Linda has worked very hard at building up her company into what it is today. She says, “When you start your own business you have to be prepared to work harder and longer than you’ve ever worked before! Anyone thinking of running their own business has to be prepared for this.

I’d also advise them to look and act the part that is right for their business. If they want to be perceived as a professional in a business environment, turning up in jeans and slippers generally won’t do. On the other hand, if my plumber turned up to work in an expensive suit, I would have serious doubts that he can actually do the job!”

Ayunia will be exhibiting at Business South 2008, St Mary’s Stadium on 5th and 6th March. Find them at stand no. N106 in the New Business Zone within the Terry Paine suite.

Linda is looking forward to the challenges of the show, “I feel priviledged to be sponsored by Southampton City Council and hope to learn from exhibiting at Business South 2008. I would love visitors to leave the exhibition remembering Ayunia, the company that puts businesses on the front cover of search engines!”

Ayunia is looking to further expand its services to its existing and future clients. Linda commented, “I plan to expand our search engine consultancy service even more as it can make a huge difference to the success of a business”. Ayunia recently helped one company increase its traffic via search engines from 8% to 82% in just 9 months.
