King Sturge Southampton assigns office in Winchester
11 April 2011
Acting on behalf of Konica Minolta Business Solutions, King Sturge has assigned the ground floor suite of Canister House, Jewry Street to Crondall Energy Limited, an independent consulting organisation specialising in offshore oil exploration and drilling that utilise FPSO technology.
Crondall Energy Limited has taken an assignment of an existing lease on the 192.51m2 (2,072sq2) office suite with approximately five years unexpired at a rent passing £41,500 per annum.
Jason Webb of King Sturge says: “Having merged their Reading and Winchester operations, Konica Minolta were very pleased to dispose of their ongoing liabilities on this surplus accommodation. The Winchester office market can be quite fickle, and with Hampshire County Council withdrawing into The Castle, a large amount of office space has come on the market over the last couple of years, providing an increased supply with only limited demand to fill it”.
