Traditional Southampton Pub To Re-Open Its Doors

Charters Commercial are delighted to announce the sale of The Bevois Castle Public House, located in the heart of Southampton off a guide price of £350,000 for the freehold interest.

Occupying a highly visible position on a triangular plot between Onslow Road and Rockstone Lane, this traditional public house is believed to date back to 1843 in parts.

The Bevois Castle ceased trading in May 2010 and after some concerted marketing efforts the new owner, Maximilian Greenwood, an experienced publican/chef, completed the purchase and is now looking forward to re-opening the pub in September after an extensive refurbishment.

Charters Commercial are delighted to see this traditional pub retained for its current use.
