Information

Imperial Property (Southampton) Ltd plan a substantial redevelopment at a major gateway into the city centre to provide a 200 bedroom 4 star hotel operated by Radisson SAS group; a 122 unit 'apart hotel'; a 14 storey block of 219 flats; and an office development.

Delph Property Group has acquired the residential element of the scheme and Western Challenge Housing Association part of the Spectrum Housing Group, will be acquiring 54 affordable homes.

The development will include a hotel tower and spire which will act as a signpost to the northern gateway into the city centre adding a sense of arrival, interest and drama to this key gateway.

The proposed development offers significant regeneration benefits to this part of the city with the addition of 8,500 sq m of modern office space.

The development will greatly contribute towards the business and tourism facilities of Southampton and the office and hotel / apart-hotel provision could also bring an estimated 550 jobs into the city.
