The Economic Development Team is based 3rd Floor, Marland House, Civic Centre Road, Southampton, SO14 7LTIf you are coming to a meeting with Economic Development and travelling by car, please contact us by telephone 023 8083 2587 and we will book a car parking space at the Civic Centre car park.
Alternatively, the nearest public car park is West Park Car Park, West Park Road, off Havelock Road. [Please see the map which shows the location of the car parks and Marland House. ]
By road
From North
M3 from London – follow the signs to M27. You can exit the M27 either following Southampton East or West A33. Follow the signs to city centre / docks.
From East
M27 – leave the M27 at Junction 7, Hedge End and follow the signs A334 signposted Southampton which leads to the A304 signposted city centre.
From West
M27 – leave the M27 at M271 follow the signs A33 signposted Southampton and then A3024 city centre.
By Rail
Southampton Central Railway Station is just 5 minutes walk from Marland House. Leave the station at Platform 1 and turn right – take the road Blychenden Terrace and then Kingsbridge Lane (the multi-storey car park will be on your left and railway line on your right). At the top of the hill you will see the Civic Centre. Marland House is just across the road. See the map.
By Air
Southampton Airport is 4 miles from the city centre with mail railway line to Southampton Central Railway Station from Southampton Parkway Station which is just a few minutes walk from the Terminal.
