Finance and Grants

Southampton is not an assisted area and is unable to provide loans or grants to individuals starting a business. There are many ways of raising finance and help is readily available.

Grants are currently available for the manufacturing industry in Southampton. Southampton City Council is supporting a new grant project aimed at providing grants to local businesses for Capital Investment Projects. The grant is provided by the South East of England Development Agency (SEEDA) and is called Selective Finance for Investment in England (SFIE).
