From time to time, Southampton City Council commissions research into the local economy and its future growth. Included in this section are reports to assist with business plans and provide information on the growth of sectors and the City Council's role in developing the economy. Also included in this section are reports commissioned by other organisations.

Southampton Cruise Study - April 2005
Commissioned by the City Council in order to improve understanding of the scale and operational requirements of the cruise passenger industry within Southampton. Its results will form the basis of action by SCC and others to strengthen Southampton’s position as the UK's leading cruise passenger port.
The project was funded by the South East of England Development Agency and steered by senior managers from the industry. | |
