The following tables show the average annual earnings in pounds sterling for employees (the analysis excludes the self-employed). Part time employees are those who work 30 hours or less per week. These are gross earnings before tax, national insurance or other deductions and exclude payments in kind.
The tables indicate that people travelling into Southampton to work are employed in higher paid jobs than those living in Southampton.
